About

A L Associates is a well-respected, independent Chartered Surveying practice, offering an extensive array of Building Surveying and Architectural Design services to clients throughout Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire.

The practice was started by in 2015 by Adam Lovett, a Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Building Engineer, with over 20 years’ experience in the industry.

Adam began his career working for a small building firm specialising in domestic refurbishments. Having established a keen interest in construction he then joined a highly-regarded Cotswold-based Surveying Practice, training initially as an Architectural Technician before enrolling on, and graduating from, a part-time Building Surveying course at the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol.

Adam became an Incorporated Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) in 2005 and was elected a Professional Member of the of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2012. In 2019 he was registered as a Chartered Building Engineer with the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE).

Adam is passionate about Buildings and the Built Environment. His mixture of academic and practical experience enables him to understand the complexities that apply to individual projects, helping him to deliver an all-round, personalised service to meet the needs of his clients.
